Artists Sought for the Inaugural Greater Hickory Smoke/Kansas City
Sanctioned BBQ Festival's Artist Exhibition

March 13, 2004--The Southwest Business Association of Hickory is looking for artists interested in
showing at The Inaugural Greater Hickory Smoke/Kansas City Sanctioned BBQ Festival's Artist
Exhibition. The festival will be held May 28 and 29, 2004 at the Catawba Furniture Mall in Hickory NC.
Artists will be provided with a 10 x 10 booth space located inside of the Catawba Furniture Mall. Space

In addition to the BBQ cook off and the art show there will be live music. There are also plans for a
poker run, a kiddie's section and much more.

International organization of barbecue enthusiasts. The society sanctions contests and supervises the
judging process at contests all over North America. Part of the proceeds from this event will go to
local charities.
